How to Grow Your Email List With Summits and Bundles

August 25, 20265 min read

Bundles, summits, and podcasts are all space holding, and space holding is the thing you already know how to do.

I believe we are getting into an age of collaboration, and you know how much I freaking LOVE that.

Bundles, summits, podcasts, live guest panels, and being invited in as a guest teacher are all collaborations, and every one of them is space holding.

A space holder listens, feels the room, and brings forward what is moving in the collective field in a way a woman can actually digest. If you identify as a space holder, I would love for you to remember that, because it is everything when it comes to how you connect.

The sacred strategy for growing your list

So when you are wondering how in the world you find new people, grow your list, and build a community you can later invite into your paid offer, I would love for you to remember what you already are.

The sacred strategy is not a new tactic to learn. It is applying to be part of bundles, summits, podcasts, panels, and guest teaching opportunities, and bringing the space holding you already do into someone else's room.

And then there is the host. You are in a collaborative space with the person who has taken on the role of gathering incredible people for their bundle or summit. This takes a huge amount of work and devotion, and I simply celebrate everyone who chooses to do one.

What if you do not have the capacity to create something new?

Now, being part of a group collaboration can feel overwhelming. A host may desire a pre recorded video, a mini workshop, or an offering that is worth a certain amount rather than the lead magnet you are already running, and you may start wondering whether you have the capacity to create something.

This is where I invite you to remember your own work.

If you were to gather folks for a small paid experience in your own community, would that light you up? What would you teach, share, or drop them into? Why? Would the effort, time, and brain power it takes to create this still be worth it when you consider what your participants will feel at the end?

This feeling is what I keep with me when I say yes to collaborations.

The sequence to use inside a collaboration

When you are invited into a summit, a bundle, or a podcast, this is the sequence I would consider.

For the next collaboration you say yes to.

  1. Call the elephant in the room. Name the resistance she is experiencing. This is where you showcase your intellect by sharing your understanding from the space of a teacher.

  2. Go underneath it. What is the real reason the resistance is there? Not only the surface reason she has already told herself.

  3. Shift the energy while she is still with you. This is where your intuitive work belongs. She gets to have a practice and an understanding of how to identify the problem and begin shifting it.

  4. Hand her one tangible action. This is where the lead magnet belongs. It may be a workbook she can print and write in, a place for exploration, discovery, and awareness.

  5. Invite her to go further with you as her coach.

If the part that feels unsure is the room itself rather than the order inside it, this Recipe Card on how to hold space as a coach sits right beside this one.

Where your lead magnet belongs

The lead magnet is not the intellect, and it is not the energy shifting. Those things have already happened. By the time she receives the workbook she has something tangible in her hands to help her move forward rather than staying stuck.

That is a very different offering than a workbook placed at the beginning, before she has experienced your medicine.

Where it sits depends on the collaboration. In a bundle or a summit, the lead magnet may be the contribution itself. In a pre recorded mini workshop, a live panel, a podcast, or a guest teaching, it comes at the end, after the teaching and the shift. And if the collaboration allows an order bump, I would make it something aligned with the theme that you are not actively promoting right now, so she can keep going with what she just started.

The offer she eventually walks toward is the one you have already been tending, so if that offer could use your eyes before you carry it into someone else's room, begin with how to refine your coaching offer without starting over.

You have been holding rooms for years, and this is the same skill, pointed at the people who have not met you yet.

How we are gathering

We are gathering in North Carolina twice this fall, and I would love to see your face in either room.

The LUSH Gathering. Raleigh, North Carolina, Friday October 2 through Sunday October 4. Three days of sisterhood, coaching, beauty, a farm with goats in it, and a photographer. The first four places are $400. The full invitation lives here.

Solo Together Summit. Cary, North Carolina, Monday October 26 and Tuesday October 27. Rachel Thompson is gathering us at Daring Studios, and I am teaching Building the Project Milestones and Reflection Points for a Team of One. This is one of the collaborations I said yes to. The summit lives here.

My Commitment

to Social Justice + Equity

Honoring diversity through creating inclusive spaces

As a student of social justice, I am actively listening and learning, trying my best to bring about systemic change. I may falter at times but hope that I humbly continue to dismantle cultural appropriation, racism, gender binaries, and other social issues within my business and as part of my personal growth. I shall continue doing the work.

Land Acknowledgment

To those who came before me

I honor the Elders past, present, and emerging

I, Sora Schilling, acknowledge that I live and work on the ancestral homelands of the Tuscarora, Lumbee, and Catawba. I respectfully also honor the Lenape, Canarsie, and Wappinger people as the original stewards of the land I was blessed to be born on and resided in for most of my life. Lastly, may I take this time to give great thanks to my Korean ancestors.

The lands in and around present day Raleigh are the homelands and gathering places of the Coharie, Eastern Band of Cherokee, Haliwa-Saponi, Lumbee, Meherrin, Occaneechi Band of the Saponi Nation, Sappony, and Waccamaw Siouan.
